acquire (v. 获得，取得)：指通过自身持续不断的努力而获得某物，也指日积月累地获得知识、技能等。
gain (v. 获得，取得)：指通过后天努力或有目的的行动逐渐获得某种想要或需要的东西，如成就、利益等。
get (v. 得到，获得)：普通用词，可指以任何方式得到某物，并非一定要经过努力。
arrive (v. 到达)：不及物动词，表示到达较大的地方（如城市、国家等）时后接介词 in，而到达较小的地方（如机关、学校、商店等）时则后接介词 at。
get (v. 到达)：不及物动词，须后接副词或介词 to。He got back home yesterday.
reach (v. 到达)：及物动词，可直接后接名词或副词。They reached Beijing at nine
bring (v. 带来，拿来)：指从别处把某人或某物带到说话人所在或所说之处。
fetch (v. [尤英]（去）拿来)：指去取了某物或带上某人再返回原处，即一往一返，相当于 go and bring，但有时也可说 go and fetch，意思和 fetch 并无不同。在美国英语中，只有讲到狗去拿什么东西时才用 fetch。
get (v. 带来，去拿)：指从别处带来或拿来，常可与 fetch 换用，但语气较随便，多用于口语。
take (v. 带去，拿去)：指从说话人所在或所说之处把某人或某物带走，侧重方向而非方式，与 bring 的方向正相反。
